Go-Southcoast Forum Rules.

Section 1- General Rules

1 - While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting, persecution, bullying, singling out, discrimination, slandering, defaming or libel posts to other members of the forum.

2 – Multiple, numerous, abundant, copious or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed. This will result in posts being removed and a warning being issued.

3 - Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members. Complaints of such activity will result in an instant ban from the forum.

4 - Discussions of illegal activities such as software and music piracy are not allowed.

5 - Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple, numerous, abundant, bountiful accounts is not allowed. Multiple accounts will be deleted and the original account banned.

6 - We reserve the right to remove offensive, nasty, unpleasant, hateful, spiteful, malicious, unpleasant, hurtful, unkind, malevolent posts without notice.

7 - We also reserve the right to ban anyone who purposely violates the forum rules. This will be done either instantly or after receiving a warning.

8 - In addition, while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.

9 - Any threads/posts of these types will be removed, to a separate area of the forum for future reference by staff of the site.

10 – Anyone who a sign up to this forum is not beyond the rules, this includes all staff of the site. Constant, persistent, continual, lasting, relentless, repeated, frequent, recurrent, repetitive rule breaking will result on removal from the forum.

11 – The Owner of the forum, has the right to amend, alter, adjust, modify, revise, mutate, change, rework the forum, and its rules at any point without warning.

12 – This forum is not a part of the Go-Ahead group, and therfor all information may not be correct. The forum doesn’t accept any responsibility for incorrect information.

13 – We have official Go-Ahead employees who give insider information, none of this information is to be passed into the general knowledge until the company feel fits to release such information.


Section 2 - Accident Reporting

1 - If you report an accident the following is allowed


Description of the incident
Vehicle involved
Time and date

2 - The following is not allowed in the reporting of the accident


Name of the driver
Any casualties/ injuries that were sustained.

3 – Photos of the incident are allowed to be posted as long as


The faces of the drivers are blanked out
Registration plate of the other vehicle/vehicles are blanked out.

4 - Please report the damage to the vehicle, and outcome if known to whether it will be repaired or not.

5 – Should you witness an accident, then a description of the incident is welcome. Please make sure that it is factual and that you do not intimate who is at fault. That is not for us to pass judgement on, as none of us know the circumstances prior to the incident. Therefor any post that does have some intimation, hint, indication, insinuation of who is to blame, then the post will be removed from the board. Please bear in mind that should you witness an accident then you may have your post used if required by police or other bodies that wish to use it. Therefor it must be a true account. Failure to do so may result in a custodial sentence from the police, and also a ban whilst you are in jail.

6 - Failure to obey these rules will result in AN INSTANT BAN from the forum, length is variable.

Section 3 – Forum Banter

1 - The forum enjoys banter between its members, and welcomes open and fun discussions.

2 - Should the discussions and banter feel inappropriate, out of place, unsuitable, improper, unacceptable, tastless, unfitting, tactless, and/or cause offence to the other person/persons then your post will be removed.

3 – Should the management receive a message about harassment, irritation or persecution, discrimination, bullying from messages the management will investigate, and solve the issue as best as it can. Harassment is neither allowed and will not be tolerated on the boards.

4 - Please keep in mind that the forum is monitored by Go-Ahead management, who have been helpful in the past, and comments against them, unless constructive are deemed harmful, therefor will be deleted. Information from the companies is always welcome as is there contributions to the boards. Messages of such nature will be deleted.

Section 4- Signitures

1 – Signatures are allowed.

2 - Signitures that are posted that offensive, insulting to other members of the forum will be deleted.

3 – Signatures that are deleted will be given the message

The Management.

Once this is displayed you may not repeat the signature that was deleted. If you persist and repost that signature you will be barred from the forum for 7 to 10 days. A second breach after that time will result in a ban that is variable.

4- Signatures may be animated, funny or a generally quote or saying. They must belong to you/your personality and not of others or dig at others.

Section 5 – Bans

1 – Bans are given by the owner of the site.

2 – If you are banned from the forum, you must not resign in until your ban is over. Length of bans differ. The minimum ban is 7 days and go upto indefinite, unspecified, unknown, unstipulated amount of time.

3 - If you do sign in under another name, or use another members internet access then your ban will be longer, and also the members account will be banned. Constant and flagrant abuse of defying a ban will result in a lifetime ban from this forum, and any further forums that this may move to.

4 - Bans are there to give people for
A – To stop arguments happening on the forum, to allow a cooling off period of time.
B- Constant, continuous, endless, relentless, continual, persistent, unceasing breaking of the forum rules.

5 – Bans will on many cases be given after a warning has been sent by PM to the offender/offenders. In some cases as outlined above, bans will be instant, immediate, instantaneous and direct.

6 – No Ban given can be appealed against, and is only given as a last resort, if all else fails. Should you feel that you have been wrongly banned then as the member you should have taken note, from the warning (if it was appropriate to send one) to change your postings.

7 – If you come to the forum with the express intent of making people leave then you are given one chance. You will receive a single warning on discovery of such actions and should you then persist, persevere, continue, keep it up, carry on with your action your account will be banned from the forum for indefinitely, and any forum this group may move to in the future.

Section 6 – Complaints

1 – Complaints may be forwarded to any of the admin staff.

2 – All complaints, grievances, objections, accusations, allegations, protests, hostility regarding members must be sent to the owner via pm or email. The owner will look into all complaints and deal with them accordingly. Please bear with the owner, as some will take a little while to sort out.

3 – If you complain to any staff of the site, and you feel that you have not received a satisfactory outcome, please email the site owner with all the details, and the adjudication of the decision.

4 – Complaints towards any company on the forum, may be made as long as they are constructive and are helpful. Any complaint that is slanderous, libellous, defamatory, malicious, derogatory, disparaging will not be tolerated and therefor will be removed. If your complaint is to do with drivers, the way that you have been treated, then this is not the place to vent such, please be advised that you should contact the company directly via email, post or telephone.
